About our bakery
Grandaisy, or Grandma Daisy, was my grandmother. More than just my mom’s mom, Grandaisy was like a grandma to her entire neighborhood, always concerned with bringing people together and embracing the community around her. It was this drive to build community that inspired the creation of Grandaisy Bakery in 2006.
Today, Grandaisy Bakery is made up of nearly 80 artisans spread across our wholesale, catering and cafe operations. Our bakery handcrafts authentic, Italian-style breads daily using sustainable, local ingredients whenever possible. Grandaisy breads are proudly featured in over 200 restaurants, our catering services are ready to elevate your next event, and our retail cafe has been named one of the best bakeries to visit in New York City.
In our Tribeca cafe, you’ll find scratch-made breads and pastries, coffee and espresso drinks, sandwiches, flatbreads, and a sense of community that Grandaisy would have been proud to call her own.
