Grandaisy Bakery is a European-style bakeshop tailored to modern New York sensibilities. We specialize in rustic Italian breads and pastries, Roman-style pizzas, and gourmet panini.

Our goal is to provide for you, our guests, a unique and memorable culinary experience in a casual and friendly environment. October 8th | Pizza Bianca: Five ingredients and Endless Possibilities.
Are you a fan of our pizza bianca? Come learn how to make it yourself. Our head baker, Julio Guarchaj, will teach students how to turn pizza bianca dough into countless delectable baked goods, both sweet and savory. From homemade pizza dough to schiacciata d’uva (champagne grape flatbread) students will learn how to mix, shape and bake this dough and complement it using pantry items or fresh seasonal produce.

October 8th | Slice Out Hunger
Slice Out Hunger is a pizza lover’s dream come true! The city’s top pizza makers, including us, are donating their pies and selling each slice for only $1. It’s a completely volunteer run event and all proceeds go directly to Food Bank for NYC.

October 18th | PS 199 Fall Festival
PS 199, our neighbors at our 72nd St. location, are holding their 7th annual walkathon. This year’s theme is “Work Hard. Be Kind.” They have asked us to have a booth selling our healthy and delicious pizzas. All proceeds will go to the school’s PTA.

October 18th | New York City Wine and Food Festival Grand Tasting
We are pleased to join our friends at the Village Voice for this year’s Grand Tasting, the showcase event for the NYCWFF. We will be sharing a table with our favorite NYC weekly and giving away samples of our delicious Roman-style pizzas.

October 24th | 2010 Noogie Fest
Noogiefest at Gilda’s Club New York City is a Halloween celebration for anyone affected by cancer. We’re big fans of the late, great Gilda Radner and of this wonderful organization providing emotional and psychological support to those struggling with the disease.
